Prof. Sato was trained as a sculptor, and has been using photography for over three decades to express his ideas about light and space. He even creates cameras based on the idea of “camera obscura”. Prof. Sato has been exhibiting internationally, and his works are collected widely includes Solomon R. Guggenheim, New York; Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography; and many others.
